Donnie, my indo tiger datnoid [freshwater] keeps flicking:[ he has always done it although no other fish do. he usually does it LESS after a water change. he was in a 150gal and he did it alot then he was temporarily housed in a 6 gallon and he stopped. but as the water aged he would start doing it more. is it nitrates? i put him in a 55gal and none of the fish have any parasites im aware of. as far as i know i cleared them all up but he occasionaly starts flickin around on the rocks and sometimes he even uses my plecos armour
i just dont wanna jump to any treatments because he absolutely HATES being taken out of his tank for ANY period of time HATE HATE HATES it. he literally wont come see me at the front of the tank for like a week:[ as soon as a net goes in the tank, if its not filled with his goldfish he lays down so i cant get him but thats besides the point, so if its possible that hes just sensitive to older water i need to start doing water changes more frequently what should i do?
ps i dont have any testers besides ph yes yes i know i need them very bad im thinking about gettin some this week.
