Hello, I'm currently an audio electronics and loudspeaker designer, an artist and a foodie who misses NYC, now in California. Most of my works are mixed media, exhibition prints and are all abstracts.

I have 3 tanks. A 125 long with Oscars, pacu's, plecos, silver dollars and parrots, a 120 with Red Severums and Blue Acaras and a 75 with Discus. All are on Fluval FX6s (and we're in process of setting up a 300 the Oscars and pacu's are outgrowing the 125 much more quickly than we thought!) with a huge quantity of riparian pants growing out of the top through a custom grid.

I used to be a partner in a sound company in the 1970s. Back then we used a lot of Shure microphones and ElectroVoice speakers. We had a pair of JBL bass horns each which each held two 15 inch speakers mounted vertically in the enclosure.
Maybe there is a connection between audio and keeping fish?

I am in NY and have no intention of heading west, so I sympathize with you.
