Dante And Nyx Spawn

I'm starting to panic. I seemed to have a lot of moving babies earlier today... how often to they sleep? I hope they're not dying off. I'm really panicking right now.

How often are you feeding. If you've only got liquifry you could also feed some Egg yolk. Put a bit in a hanky or clean muslin cloth and swish it around the water......that would be small enough for them to eat but not too much that you pollute the water. Have you got a sponge filter running? If you've got things in the tank they may have found little cubby holes to hide in.

Ugh!!! They died. The sponge filter somehow broke down... I have no idea if that has to do with anything. I am going to atempt to do the same spawn in a few weeks.

So sorry to hear that little babies. Good luck next time Maybe worth leaving Dad in for a little longer to take care of them but sometimes these things just happen. Our first spawn we lost virtually all of them at the end of the first week

Best thing to do is try again and, like we have, learn from each spawn

Yes, that is my plan. I am going to leave Dante in longer the next time. I'll also be able to observe more since school will be let out in two days.
