I have some leopard danios and I was wondering if there is a male to female ratio. I have 2 males and 4 females. I have some fry that are big enough and I was wondering if I could pair some up because I know that not all of them are laying eggs. Does the male mate with more than one female?

Always good to have a ratio of 1 male to 2 females because the males can harass the females, also males can be more on the irritating side to one another too.

Nah they will breed with whoever

Ok. Good to know. How old do the fry have to be before you can tell the gender.

That I cant say.

Mature adults can be seen, but younger are harder to tell so you'd probably have to wait til mature or at least have a good eye with the coloring as adults...
