Danios Resting On Bottom

Did a 25 % water change 2 days ago and rinsed the pre-filter sponge as usual. Now I have about 4 zebras "resting" on the bottom. What do I do now?

Can you post your water stats please in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
Did you rinse the sponge in old tank water.

Sorry, no stats at this time. I rinsed the sponge in old tank water. I did not do anything different from what I've always done in the past. Should I do another water change?

Without water stats it hard to say whats going off as it's the first thing to look at.
Used any chemicals nears the tank.
Do you use the bucket for anything else when you do water changes.

No chemicals. The bucket is only used for water changes. Should I do another water change?

Do you have any test kits to test your water with.
Are they laboured breathing.

All seems to be well now. Should I do another water change anyway?

If there fine now no need to do another water change if water stats are fine.
