hi everyone.

Ok, it seems my troubles just keep adding on. Im treating my tank for ick (going good, will be done in 6 days)

today i came home to discover my female danio swimming weird. i looked closer, and saw her head bent to the side, like she turned her head to look and it got stuck. so for the past 3, 4 hours she's just swimming like that.

what is it???? anyone?

i checked my water, everything is how its supposed to be.

thanks in advance

PS: she swims okay, doesn't seem to struggle. and she also ate good, if not more than other fish

It could be a spine mutation. some are there from birth and some come from accidents. I wouldn't worry, my corys tail once had that happen but it eventually went back to normal. your danio should be just fine, as it will adjust to the situation until it goes back to normal.

wow thank u for that! i hope ur right! the girl got me really worried. danios always get into trouble! just a couple of days ago my male got his head and fin stuck in my CO2 system and it took me half an hour to get him out. one of his gills got a bit damaged but hes getting better now and swimming like usual.

i love my fish, and i just hope its not TB!!

how long did it take for your cory to get his tail back to normal?
