White stuff?
Is it cotton wool like or smooth?

Swolen face?
is it inflamed/sore looking?

What are you water parameters?

What size tank and what other fish are in it?

ALASKA
its a 17g 24x12x14inch its got 5 LF leopard danios, 2 dwarf honey gouramis and 5 neon tetra's...

It very much sounds like Fungus (Columnaris)
Signs; White or discoloured 'cotton-wool' patches on the skin or fins. Often accompanied by inflammation and skin erosion.

You should treat with an anti-fungal medication and also do a 50% water
change also add an aquarium salt to the water.
HTH.

Yes you treat the whole tank
As for how long that depends on the brand that you
are going to use. Thoroughly read the instuctions.
Do your water change before medicating :)

Well i went to look in the tank today only to find that he had past away... :( do you think i should still use the medicine on my tank? My fish dont seem to have any fungus but should i do it to jus make sure?

:rip: Mate! :(

Fungus is really only contagious if the other fish have some abrasions or injuries... if they seem unharmed, i wouldn't worry about it. However if you see any signs of fungus starting, treat right away.
