Danio Looking Ill

Hi all,

Never been on a fish forum before but need some help.

My zebra danio has started to look ill. He (she?) is loking a bit swollen, red and very scruffy. he is about 4 yrs old now. I'm not very clued up on fish illnesses so any advice or help would be great.

Size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

Are scales sticking out.
Any bleeding or red patches beneath the skin.

Look under septicemia and dropsy.
