This could well be because they had only just been taken out of a polystyrene box. The photo would of probably been better had i gave them 5 minutes to acclimatise. There colour would of been better too.
And for the record before anyone tells me how cruel I am or how I am mistreating them, it is far less stress on them than someone getting them in a bag from a shop (so please no hypercrypts). Also the condition of the fish etc is better than most people have in their tank.
