Danio Doesnt Love Me? </3

it seems that when ever i walk within 5 feet of my tank my lone giant danio swims to the far left back corner behind the spill tank. but when i fist walk into my rrom it is happily swimming around.

i dont think this is much a problem but it makes me sad b/c i have had this danio in my first tank about 4 years ago. so its had 4 years of me and now its hates me....maybe if i give it flowers and chocolates it will love me agian

Dont danios prefer schools? Maybe he would feel safer in a group and comeout more if you got him some friends. But if the chocs are going spare I'll have them!

all danios are schooling fish and will show odd behavioral patterns if kept in a group of less than 5

I recently bought ten leopard danios. One is a male and one is an albino and they are constantly swimming around the tank in one big group. Amazing to watch really. Please get your danio some friends

i am...this morning i got a call from my local fish store and they said they got a new supply of danios. would of bought some last night but the store only had 3, 2 of which looked sickly....so tonight i will have 6 giant danios
