i had a breeding pair of Sajica's and after puting a female com in the tank she paired-up with the male Sajica and they both killed the little female T-bar

How many times did they breed? Did you rasie the fry yourself or did the cichlids do it? How big was the convict and the female Sajica?

they bred 3times (the con and sajica)

i took the fry out after a few days as they was a bit of a pain with the fry in the tank

female con was the same size as the female sajica 3inches

male sajica when he was breeding with the female sajica

male with his new mate, when he paired up with the con over his mate

there fry in a 4ft grow-out tank

Ive kept and bred Sajicas myself and yours look more like Cryptoheros spilurus. They are still fantastic fish, and that male, wow!

you are right if thats what they are
iv never really looked them up, they was a fish there when i wanted to buy some little cichlid and was labled as sajica so thats what iv always called them, i did look up the spilurus and seeing them i go with you and now will call them Cryptoheros spilurus
