Damaged Mollie

Hi All,

My silver mollie has had an accident due to her partner chasing her around the tank and pestering her and she swam right into the glass and looks like she dislocated her lower jaw. She is unable to close her mouth. I have moved her to the hospital tank where she is just laying on the bottom of the tank. I am not sure what I can do for her, anyone any ideas.

You can move the jaw back into place but to be honest don't know how you do it on such a small fish.
You could wrap her in a wet cloth thats been soaked in tank water and try and move it back to its place.

Thanks for the reply wilder. I have checked her this morning and her jaw is O.K again. She seems to be swimming around quite happy now.
