I've had my female Dalmatian play inside of her breeder's cage for the past few weeks now knowing that she would give birth, but a few days ago she only dropped 4 fry.The day after they all died and her stomach is still full of babies.Should I just leave her in there?

No.
Breeding traps (Assuming you're talking about the little plastic traps or the nets, are very stressful) that's probably why she hasn't given birth, she's to stressed out. She may have aborted the other fry already and that's why she hasn't dropped.
If anything, take her out of the net and let her swim freely in the tank and when/if she does give birth net the babies and put them in the trap, the fry will be fine in a trap for a few days/weeks but the mother platy is totally stressed out, the area she's in just isn't big enough for her.

100% agree with this, the traps are just too stressful and often end in females aborting there fry or dieing themselves
