Dalmation Molly

I have 2 Dalmation Molly's and they like slightly different one has a blackish face and its fins are different from the other....Is there anyway I can be sure of what sex they are? Thx

Sexing mollies, swords, platties and guppies is really not that dificult. I believe that there is either a pinned topic on this or a very good thread in the Livebearers Forum. It's all about the anal fin shape - triangular in the female, straighter in the male. The male's fin has a name that escapes me right now, but he uses it to deliver the sperm "packets" to the female.

The anal fin of a female is rounded and extended away from the body. The males have a pointy rounded tube like anal fin,and it folds back along the males body.
