Hi, I am new to this forum and have come for some advice.
I have a 60 litre tank with 3 molly's, 2 Angelfish and a swordtail. Very well planted and excellent water.
This tank has been running for the last 4 months now and up until today all fish have been happy and healthy.
I have just noticed that my dalmation molly has lost the fan part of his tail - i dont know when or how this has happened but it's not normal.
He still has his tail and can wiggle it but the fan part is missing, all he has is a stump left.
One of my angelfish is rather large and is definatley the boss of the tank.
Could the molly have been attacked or trapped in something? I do have lots of plants and rocks for them to swim in and out of.
Just a bit worried as the molly does not look happy at all - he is still swimming about but is definately struggling.
I would appreciate your thoughts on this as i am pretty stumped! I know angelfish can be aggressive but i didnt think they nipped fins?
Thanks
Emily
