Well in my 200 litre tank a 600g bottle lasts me about 6 weeks at 1 bubble per sec on for 10 and a half hours a day. But everyone is different all depends on the size of you tank and your water perimeters.

the tank im putting it on is a 125 litre so im guessing 2 months

1 BPS is quite low on a 200l tank imo

whats your opinion on 1bps in a 125 aaron? how long do you think 500g would last, bearing in mind the FE route is out of the question (purely because of my little brother and sister.)

You are going high tec aren't you? (i read that many posts i cant remember lol )

So you may have to run a slightly higher bubble count of 2BPS - this is always a good starting point on your size tank.

yes high tech, so 1-2bps, how long do you think one bottle would laast at 10 hours a day?

its hard to say, but i would get 2 bottles so you are not caught out, then at least you can time how long one bottle lasts.

ok, thanks alot, you and andy have been of great help to me lately and i appreciate all of your response, you know the thread on the bottle, where it connects to the regulator? is it one standard size or do they vary as i cant find any info on the thread on the bottle.
