well i swapped tanks yesterday 30 gal to 60 gal and i just checked my water and my ammonia and nitrites are up. i used the bio wheel and filter from my 30gal tank my nitrates are fine but what i am wondering even tho i used the media from my old tank will there still be a "mini"cycle or is it possible that my tank is recycling again?

Maybe just a min-cycle how long did it take to transfer all the fish? and did the media dry up atall?

took a couple hours but i put the media in a bucket of water with a few fish that way it dident dry out

Would of lost a little bacteria, give it a few days (water change as necisary) and it should get back into good shape.

ya i was debating about going and buyin some bio spira from the fish store but dont know about that

Wouldnt bother mate, you've got the bacteria already, just need a little time to increase there numbers (can double within 24hrs).
