I had an incident that forced me to populate my 55 gallon tank way early. Details:

Anyway, now that the bio load will probably slow the cycle down, should I change the water more often than what I was planning? (20% once every 5-6 days). The bacteria cloud has started and it seems stable. so thats good. the fish never seemed happier.

population:

3 mollies: 1 male (tony stewart [orange sailfin mollie with black spots. gorgeous]) 2 females (gurtrude and
nancy)
2 plecos 1 choc about 3 inches long (leroy) and another whos type i forgot (mick)
2 bronze corys (fat man/ little boy) yes, they just reminded me of the bombs. they are the same age, but one
is much bigger.
3 danios (unnamed as I cant tell them apart very well)

Depends on water test results. Any ammonia or nitrites will require daily water changes. Once they are at 0 and you have some nitrates present, 20% every 5 or 6 days should work fine with the fish you have.
