Cycling Now Doing My Nut!

Ok it seemed that i had a 10 hour cycle ammonia to 0ppm and NitrIte to what looked to be 0ppm (Yellow water plus api kit (Blue) = green the only possible match 0ppm)

so i did a large water change to remove lots of tannins and then re added ammonia and waited. this took about 10 hours just to remove the ammonia.....

Now the ammonia is goin in about 6 hours but nitrite is still 2ppm in about 16 hours......

Help im about to scream....

Wait for the nitrIte bacteria to grow even more. You might have to wait .

Yip, just a waiting game i'm afraid, you need both ammonia and nitrite to be 0.

edit: have you tried turning up the temperature to speed it up?
