So I've been cycling my 55 gallon for nearly four weeks, doing a fish cycle with six white skirt tetras (I was told they are really hardy and indeed it seemed to work really well). Ammonia/pH/temp are all at good levels. (Well my pH may be a little on the acidic side (6.0)
The fish I am most interested in:
-Pearl Gouramis
-Angels
-Rainbow fish (I can't find them anywhere- why?!)
-Maybe Rams? I am really good about water changes but I am reading online that they are still difficult?
Now I know to add slow, but when fully stocked, how many (and of which- I don't want to overcrowd) fish would you suggest? I already have these six white skirt tetras, although I may take them back now that my tank is cycled as they said they will take them back if I don't want to have them in my tank permanently.
