Cycled At Last

hi all
just thought i let you know my tank finished cycling last week after 6 long long weeks hoping my 4 TBs
would survive through it
to my joy they have and seem to glowing with there new barb mates
1 green
2 red bodied and a red tail shark who seems to b shouling with the TBs

oh has anyone got any suggestions on types of top level fish that would go with mt TBs
as they semed to stay around the bottom most of the time other than feeding

my tank is 103l
any input would b great thanks gillyg

Just keep in mind that the tank is only cycled for the number of fish in it. Adding more fish could cause a mini-cycle as there will be more waste to process so keep an eye on the ammonia and nitrite for a few days.

If that is a Red-Tailed Black Shark or any other variety of shark your little 103 litre is far to small to keep him in. He is likely an agressive little hooer, and if he doesnt kill something he will be bouncing off the walls because of boredom. What i suggest you do is return him if at all possible, and reconsider what you are going to keep in your tank. Think about what you want your tank to look like, and bounce a species list off the forum: we can give you a good idea of what can and cant work.
