Cycle results after 1 week

Post what you've done up to this point ....... have you taken any other readings before these? Did you use media from another tank?
 
What ammonia source are you using ? How much have you added ? I think you need to continue adding your ammonia until you see a spike in nitrites. From your readings, I'm pretty sure you haven't yet.

All that has been put in is tap water with de-chlorinator. Its also got about 40 plants in

if u have a friend with a tank, ask them for some of the lovely gunk from the bottom of the filter (full of lovely bacteria) or better still some of their filter media. when i cycled my tank i used a piece of cod to 'feed' my tank :sick: , put in lots of plants, gunk from a friend's tank and the tank cycled within two weeks.

I emptied the contents from one of the filters in my other tank last night along with a litre of water from my other tank.

COD :sick: I am allergic to white fish, The smell makes me :sick: and if I eat it, Well
