Hi one of my platys gave birth 8 days ago and I managed to get 25 into a breeder box so they didn't get eaten. I want to move half of them into a new 90litre tank.I've moved half the stones from the old tank to new. I've swapped half the filter sponge into the new and used some water twice (when doing a water change) from the old tank. Will all this help cycle the tank quickly? I've got testing kits and everything is perfect but obviously I don't want to move them until its ideal. Thanks

Any tips please?

bit of a late response but if you move some of the established filter material into the new filter on the new tank, it should cycle straight away. If more filter bacteria are needed, they quickly grow to the amount required.
