ok about last years ago in one of my old tanks when it was set up i had some black mollies in it and it was doin fine and then one day this white stuff that looked like algea but it was white.it took aver the whole tank and so i took all the fish out washed the tank and did many other things to get rid of it so then i re cycled the tank and it came back and then attcked the fish and they all died.the white algea stuff went over there eyes and ate away their fins.does anybody know what this might be from and what it is?

Probably a true fungus which is hard to get rid of, only thing to do is strip the tank down and start again, sterilsing everything and throwing all your filter sponges away.
