Curious Wormfish Lost In Tank!

Hi

I bought a Curious Wormfish 4 days ago

Once released from the bag into the tank it immediately buried itself under the sand under a rock about two minutes later it could be seen poking its head out. This is the last we have seen of it.!!

The little fella was about 3 inches long and very small looking. I have nothing in the tank that could catch and eat such a fish. I hope he is VERY shy and is unwilling to show itself.

Has anyone else had or has this fish? info would be good please. I do not know if this is a hardy fish or not, could it have just stressed and died? 4 days seems a long time to hide.

normal i didnt see mine for 2-3 months now hes out and is at the back of all my rocks now

well like thought its a goby
and gobys can be a royal pitta for hiding
mine hid for two months straight
and make sure all the lr is on the base of the tank like on the glass or the goby may burry under it and cause a rock fall
