Does anyone have any advice on which cultures are easiest?

Also, it would have to be a live food which is pretty widely loved!

I just wondered as we have a huge swimming pond  (Google it) to get inhabitants/ algae out of, and thought it might be nice to have live food free!

Thanks, Sam :S

Brine shrimp are what most people start off with, though you won't need a massive swimming pond to culture them in.

No lol the swimming pond to get stuff like daphnia out of! And by massive I didn't really mean massive somehow lol, looking back at the post it looks like such a boast

Sorry

Videos of fish feeding on them look really cool, I might give them a try!

I have a blackworm colony getting establish in a small 20L tank with just some gravel and and airstone, they just need a bit of food thrown in even some dead leaves. My goal is to eventually be able to add blackworms to my tanks and with a bit of luck they will manage to escape the hungry mouths and be able to colonise the tank, providing live food when ever the fish happen to find them.

I have wrote some articles in the killifish section for your perusal
