Hi all,
Excuse me if I've already asked about this, but I know I've asked on a forum, but didn't really get any answers. Anyway, my CT Ernie has curling at the tips of his fins. I've tried adding a water conditioner with salt in it, and I've tried a broad spectrum medicine. Do you think Bettafix might help?

The same thing started happening to my second Betta, Sebastian, but it stopped when I started adding a few drops of broad spectrum medicine to the tank at each water change. This is what the LFS said they do, and I guess because he's used to it, he's dependant on it. Ernie is from the same shop, but I didn't know about adding the broad spectrum to the water when I got him. I hope he's not beyond help now.

I want to make sure this Betta is super healthy, before adding a divider to the tank, and getting another betta.

Someone told me a little sunlight was good for the fins of a CT and also the PH of the water has something to do with it. I mover Red to a nicer spot that got a little more natural light and he seems to have sorted himself out

What pH do you keep your Bettas in? I don't adjust mine for my Bettas, but I adjust my community tank water down to 7 if needed. Should I be doing this with the Bettas? People have told me you don't have to, but I'd give it a try if you think it may help.

Unfortunately, I don't really have a sunny spot I can put my Betta in, where he'd be safe from my 2 year old.

I don't add any thing to my water for the PH but i am in a very soft water area and its around 6.5 - 7 all the time so thats what they get.

Other than that i can't help much, i hope some one here knows any other ways to help. Good luck
