I'm coming to the end of seachem trace, and am looking for a cheaper alternative, CSM+B Plantex, where can i get it from and how easy it it to use and mix.

Thanks Simon.

Yeah, gregwatson is a great resource. He does ship to the UK. If you do order from him, pick up some KNO3, KH2PO4, and some CaCo3 also.. you might as well since it's only a dollar a pound or something, and you're gonna be paying for shipping anyway...

Good point pseud.

I never worked it out. I now choose the Aqua Essentials trace over Greg Watson; 1 - because I like to support the UK trade and 2 - because the AE trace dissolves easier and has more iron.

Each to their own obviously.

Yeah, those are good reasons... you probably don't have to wait so long for delivery either

I do feel sorry for UK traders, its catch 22, with the constant tax rises, people are having to spend there money more wisely, if that means going abroad who can blame them.
Politics a side

How would you go about mixing it for a juwel record 96 George, is it the same sort of think as NKP, or is it just a standard mix for all tanks, just up the dose to suit.

I would mix one tablespoon per 250ml RO water. Then dose 5-10ml solution every other day. This is assuming you have good growth rates.
