is crushed coral safe to use in a cichlid tank that has oscars in ,, ive never used it before and i dont want to put it in if its going to make the ph too high

It will make the PH go sky high Lol.

Either use sparingly or dont use at all im afraid.

Why use it in a NW tank? It's mainly used as buffers in african rift lake tanks.....
