Crowntail & Uncommon Bettas

Where would you find these beautiful bettas? I have two and really want to get another one, and not that the popular ones arent georgous, cuz i luv them, but i would really like to get something a little different for my next one. Every time i look in my LFS they pretty much all look the same, cept last week they had white ones, suprisingly, but still i have never seen any crazy colours or different types of tails in real life, just in pics. are these extremely rare? or do i just have to look harder? well i'm blabbing! hehe bye :fun:

I've got some cool coloured traited ones but ive never ever seen a pale white creemy one i really wanmt one of them

Where in New York are you? At times the Petland Discount at 7th St & 6th AVE have crowntails. That's where I got my 3. I'll have pictures soon right after Thanksgiving.

TELL me about it...I rarely see "normal" Bettas let alone crowntails!!! :cry:

I got my crowntail at Wal-Mart for 2.99. He has a white body and lavander fins tipped with red! Very pretty.

My other is a dark dark blue with mustard yellow finnage (is that right?) I also got him at Wal-Mart for 2.99

There was also a red double tail but he was sold 10 minutes before I got there. The fish dep. guy told me because he knows me I guess. I go to wal-mart like twice a week. He put him behind all of the other bettas to save him for me but someone found him. GRRRRR

yeah i have a day off tomorrow so i think im gunna go on a rampage lookin everywhere for cool bettaz. i hope i only have to go as far as wal mart, but up here in canada i've honestly never seen a crazy type betta at walmart, who knows, maybe tomorrow is my lucky day. i'll keep u posted!
