Crowntail Fin Rot?

How is Fin rot displayed in a Crown tail?
i noticed that there was a little beit of color dissapearing from the tips of his fins, could this be fin rot?
he is very active and i only got him like 2 weeks ago after my first betta died

It sounds like it could be a symptom of fin rot, I would keep a close eye on him and do some serious research. Here is an article to get you started:

when they have fin rot their fins will start getting mysteriously shorter, and they tips will have black or brown edges almost as if they've been burnt or are decaying
