I have 6 guppies, 15 platys and a couple mollys in a 360L aquarium. i also have a MILLION snails in the tank, i went to a fish shop to get some stuff to get rid of them and the lady suggested a crown loach to eat them. now she showed me the 'small' ones and they're about 2-2.5 inches long. Has anyone had these fish in the same aquarium as guppies? will it eat my fish?

They will grow big and probably hunt down any fry your live bearers may have from what ive heard they become quite large

yeah i asked the lady if i could swap them when they get too big and she said that was fine. but even the small ones are so big compared the smaller fish i have

you should have no problems - they wont pray on fry.

We have 5 clowns in our 350l - no longer have snails, just empty shells and a rather annoying amount of endlers.
The clowns leave them alone. We got 2 pictus to clear up the problem in the end
