I'm not sure it's the easiest to cross them with but I know they can cross with a jack dempsey.

Try JB parrots... blood parrots (I've been told) are 99% infertile...

Cons can virtually cross with anything.

con x anything really

Som are harder ot do than others, but it can be done.

Sorry dude, i'm just about to attempt a union between a male pink convict and a female blood parrot. I really dont get this anti-hybrid sentiment, it's not like they're going to be released into the wild and taint the wild bloodlines. They're just for aquarium use, and whats wrong with developing fish varieties better suited to captive conditions?

People hybridise plants and nobody batts an eyelid, whats the deal?
