Cross Breeding

Just a silly question really, but do species, eg platys and guppys, cross breed?

I think amoungst similar species fish like guppies and endlers its been known not too common though.

Platties have been crossed with swordtails endless times, most of what you see in shops has probably got a hybrid for an ancestor along the way.

Guppies, endlers and mollies can cross

Platies and swordtails also can cross.
