Tiger beetle larvae...have a look at this vid I found online...you can actually "fish" them out of their holes

I tried DuckDuckGo but its results arent that great and the interface is kinda behind the times.

Odd thing is....I don't recall EVER seeing any of the adults at my place(?)....maybe because they are so fast?

But wait... I just saw this video and while it is a very good explanation, it almost doesnt look like the ones @Slaphppy7 has in his videos

I'm disappointed it's not baby tremors. And slap's video of these honestly don't look like the larvae on video.
Slap's looks more like a fine, sharp tongue, like a lizard or even an anteater.
At any rate, cool stuff, and I would still hold the "nuke it from orbit" card close to heart.

Wait a minute...I HAVE seen the adults before, I think...beautiful dark metallic purple/blue coloring...I've seen them scoot across my garage floor, every once in a while...VERY fast....that HAS to be them
