My Crinum natans and my Rosafolia are getting a small amount of brown stuff (algae I assume) that I can rub off with my fingers...
Why?
Is it the 45mins of direct light this die of the tank gets during only July?
Is it the fact that these plants need more light than I have?
or what?
I have no other algae at all.
I use ZIGS EI, BUT I usually do about 30% water changes, with a 60% occationanly.
FE = 0.2
NA = 15
PH = 6.9 DAY 6.8 NIGHT (co2 is about 23-28ppm)
PHOS = 0.15-0.3 (A BIT low, I need to try a different test because I seem to be always adding phos....)
kh = 100 degrees
amm niti = 0
wpg = 3.5 (28w of 10000k and the rest is 6700k) HO florescence and compact florescence too(not certain I have the types of bulbs right)
This tank has significant current with a 150gph power head, used also for co2 injection, and a rena xp3 for filtration
temp = 26C (but it has been very hot here for 3 weeks and the temp has got to 30C a couple times)
The tank was replanted 12 days ago, there has been massive growth of most of the plants
