What would be the minimum tanksize for one of these on their own? And what sort of furnishings do they like? I was thinking a DIY background with lots of caves built in and floating plants would be a good plan, but tank size is a bit blurred.

hey Feeshy, sorry I missed this one. the minimum tank size for these fish and any dwarf pike really would be a 30 gallon tank.
