I need another panda cory cat to keep my two company because I learned from my research that they don't do well alone or in pairs.
I went to my lspecialtyfs (as opposed to a PetsRUs type) and asked for one. Instead of going to the tanks, the fellow helping me found another employee, talked to him for a bit, then came back to me and told me he couldn't sell me one because they had just got a new shipment in this week and they didn't look so well.
I've got some other issues with this store but I've seen them do that before, refuse to sell a fish because there might be a problem with the tank. It's pretty good.

Thats very good. I am suprised with my lsp also because they are always very careful in getting me good service. The only time that I went to a PetsMart is to buy a tank because they are usually more cheaper than a lsp would charge.

Most LPS will not sell fish when they just get a new shipment in, they are "on hold" as my LPS calls it. They have to make sure that the fish are doing fine and treat any illness caused by the stress of being shipped ect. Unless there is something majorly wrong with the fish they will be off hold in a week. This is a killer trust me, my lps just got a shipment of red lyretails swords and i can't get anytill next week *dies*. So not to worry its not that don't want to sell you fish it's that they can't at the current time.
