Creating Infusoria

An easier way is to place a lettuce leaf into a glass container of tankwater and leave it on a window cill where it gets some direct sunlight and gently aerate the water with an airstone, within a few days the water start to turn cloudy as bacteria form from the rotting leaf, once the water begins to clear again this is the sign that infusoria colonies have established and the mixture is ready to fed to the fish.

Your culture once established can be kept going for many weeks using dried milk. add a little to the culture daily (I mean a little).
