Fish Herder
I thought it would be fun to build a pond on my backyard. I have plenty of room. I was going to follow this as a guide. It seems to be in line with other things I have read, but I wanted to get more input from anyone that has already done this already.
I live along the coast of California, where temperature holds pretty well. 60 degrees is about as cold as it normally gets in the winter time, and if we hit 90 degrees in the summer, that is pretty high. There are wild animals around where I live (raccoons, possums, snakes, hawks) so I will cover this with some kind of chicken wire and possibly a screen too, to keep out falling tree debris.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
