I have 2 percula clowns in my aquarium. They seem to be very healthy, I have 0 ammonia level, and the salinity is precisely to there liking. Every once in a while I see one of my fish, what looks like he is fainting and then lays on the bottom of the tank, on his side....maybe he is just scratching ? He'll get up and continue like nothing happened. Got any ideas, thanks for the help.

Ahaha, I get it. Look Below.... ah, crazy poll thingy...mmm...

although perculas have peculiar and erratic swimming patterns,
I have not seen one doing what you described.
if he is scratching, you should look for ich or other parasites on him.
(small white or dark spots)

If he doesn't have an anemone, he may think that he has one. My clowns will occasionally wiggle around in the water, acting as if they're writhing in an anemone's tentacles. Just a bit of inexplicable behavior . . . :dunno:

If it looks like he/she is having a seizure (especially if the other clown is close by at the time) then it may be that it is an indication of them forming a pair bond. Otherwise maybe its a parasite problem or they could just be odd.
