Crazy Females

So me and my gf bought a new 10 gallon tank today and started cycling it. We also got two new females to put in our biorb until the tank is done cycling. Of course the two new beautiful crowntail girls (found at a LFS mind you, good catch) starting fighting with the 3 other girls and messing up the hierarchy and now their fins are battle worn. i love bettas but they are so darn tempermental

Because there is already a pecking order in the tank estiablished with the female bettas, you are uspposed to move around the decorations before adding new females, as far as i know

yea moving decorations helps alittle but there will almost always be some sort of fighting within the ranks for a day or two.

o never heard of the plant moving thing. Things have calmed down heres to hoping clean water will help heal them.
