Hey!

I tried starting a new thread in the Corydoras section but for some reason I can only reply/post in the "new to the hobby" section. Weird eh?

Anyway, I got 4 corys the other day. 1 panda, 1 peppered, 1 albino and 1 other one (don't know the breed) they're only little guys. Don't think they grow more than 3cm...thank god. And the panda one seems to be the most active! He's so funny! He just sits at the bottom of the tank doing pretty much nothing for a while, then all of a sudden he'll get up and start doing somersaults for about 30mins! Lol!

I found this soooooo amusing I though i'd share it with you guys! Some of you might appreciate it! lol! Also just wondered whether this is normal??:S

Oh, I tried capturing my betta as well as he kept swimming past in the background! Oh and my tanks a working progress, it looks pretty boring at the mo! Getting some plants next weekend! :D

Enjoy!!

P.S. Don't worry, I wont give up the day job. My camera skills are pants I know! And ignore the water marks. Result of a clumsy water change other day! lol!

The Panda Cory has slightly different requirements to the Albino and Peppered. Like the Adolfoi, they prefer it slightly warmer - getting the temperature just right seems to bring them alive.

You will find that every Cory is an individual, each with their own personality (that's why I like them so much). Some are hyper, some are lazy, some are daylight lovers, some prefer night time.

Really? Oh, my LFS seemed to miss that vital piece of info out! lol! Useless gits!

I keep my tank at about 24-25C. That'll be ok won't it?

I've got 2 danios, 2 neons, 1 male betta and 4 cory's (inc one mad panda!!)

I know, unfortunately they passed a week or so ago because of a Nitrite problem I had.

Don't worry, I have every intention of getting more now that it's sorted :D

Corys are great little fish to watch the ones i had used to love swimming in the bubbles that come from my airstonethey also loved the flow from my Fluval 2 plus

Shame i had to take them back to my LFS because of something going wrong in tank and having to cycle again from scratch

That is soooooo adorable! lol!

All of mine are little critters!! My panda and albino are the most active!

The others usually just chill at the bottom. They're probably jealous! lol!
