Hello, About 10 weeks ago I purchased an Elite 60ltr tank to keep a few fish, Im a complete beginner to this hobby but with my dads help I was able to cycle my tank and get a few danios. I had done lots of research myself and always tested my water and was proud or my new addition to my livingroom, I was only intending on keeping the tank for a year because it was quite small and everytime Im at my dads house he shows of his c-dream so Im aspiring to his level.
I work abroad as touring musician and my dad was going to maintain my tank while Im away and today I got a phone call from him saying there is a crack right at the front of my tank from top to bottom and all the water has leaked out into my livingroom with dead danios all over the tank. My dad has never heard of this happening with todays tanks but he said tanks of yesteryear sometimes cracked.
Could it just be a case of you got what you paid for?
Has anyone else went through something similar?
