Crack In Tank Ok?

ok guys i have a AR-620T tank which has been collecting dust in my shed, i decided to pull it out today and finish of my tests with it, the problem is it had a crack on the bottom, from one side nearly to the other, so i repeared this with some aqua safe sealent, i then put anouther piece of 5mm thick glass over the whole bottom and realed this down with a whole tub of aqua safe sealent. now i decided to put the tank to the test in my shed and so far for the past few hours theres no leaks or anything, but what i am asking is,

how long should i test it for before trusting it? thanks!

ok, coming back to this i missed something when i reglassed it one corner i didnt manage to get for some reason and there was a leak a very minor one mind, anyway im intent on replacing it again so would it be ok if i just used a acrylic panel on the bottom? i mean it wouldnt crack right?? or is this highly likly as it is a large tank...well tall, anyhow i can use glass but it means taking out a 60litre which would be so much better if i didnt have to! any advice would be great!! thanks!!
