Tank finially cycled and added fish today. 3 swords and two glass fish. My LFS doesn't open untill 2:00PM during the week, and when I got there it was Noon, so I ended up just getting a few at Petsmart to tide me over untill I make another trip over there tomorrow. Kinda a good thing though, since my LFS doesn't carry glass fish (painted or unpainted) and I really enjoy the ones I have.

Anyways, here are a couple of pics. I'll add more to this thread tomorrow.

Still playing with the settings on my camera and photo editing software, but I felt these two were decent enough to share.

Oh, I already leanred after I bought the 2 that glass fish prefer groups of six, so I'm going to get another four or five tomorrow.

apart form the possible fungus, looking greaT!

Nice fish

are those glass fish painted

YAY! There actually are unpainted glass fish for sale! Good job Petsmart!

Anyways,
That tank is AWESOME!!!! Great job!!!! Ya know what would look good in there (although remember to add them last)? A couple of little black angelfish. I would think 3 would suffice, remember they do get bigger.

Great job and :kewlpics: !!!!!   :D

Angel Fish? Not in this tank. However one of my roommates was thinking about getting a pair for his tank at one time.

Ok, so I'm up to 6 glass fish now, and 7 swordails (2male, 5 females). And I still plan on adding 6 cories. Either panda or albino's I think. Oh, I'm down to 1 ghost shrimp I think. At least one of them molted has I found his molt the other day, and I assume was eaten, or maybe I'll find them some day.

Enough talk, time for some pictures. :)

I think I'll have to treat her for fungus. Almost her entire bottom is white. Hopefully everything will turn out ok. She still has close to 8 days left on her 14 day return policy, but I don't want to do that as I'm already attached to my swordtails. Funny, a couple of weeks ago, as in before I got them, I would have said they were just fish, but now, they are my fish. Mine :p

For those who remember my setup from before, I removed the ABS pipe that I used to have in my tank, found out it might not be safe for my fish. Luckily Petsmart had a clearance sell on some items. The "driftwood" in the tank was $7 and the rock thing was $4 Still want to get some more plants though, but here is a current as of June 30 shot of my tank and a before when I had the pipe in....

Moved some plants around too. Not the best "now" shot, the best one I took this morning after I got off work. (3rd shift, 10PM-7AM) Actually, I guess it isn't too terrible of a picture.

Anyway, hope everyone enjoys looking at my tank. I'll add more pictures to this thread whenever I have any the seem worth sharing.

For those on dial-up, get faster service! No just kidding, sorry if it took a while to load the pictures. It could be your service, or the service that I'm using to host the pictures for me (Another forum, not fish related, and hotlinking pictures is allowed)

Well, time to run to the store to get something to treat fungus. Well, after I read online as to which treatment works best. Everyone is still swimming around normally, so hopefully it will all be ok.
