We noticed a "creature" in our Biorb yesterday. It has a whitish central body and then feathery "legs". It seems to moved round glass but not sure if it is drifting when water moves? It's about quarter inch long. There is algae on the glass and on central tube. tank cleaned out last Sunday. Any ideas please?

Hi & welcome

what is it attached to?
It might be fungus which sometimes occurs, it is harmless and usually disappears after a few weeks.

It is free moving, not sure if floating in water current or actually propelling itself. Appears to cling on to glass. Think it has got bigger.
Thanks for your suggestion.
