Could The Tank Supposrt A Betta?

As a suprise my mum came home tonight with a nano tank for me, and i must say i am rather pleased.It is around 3 gallons and has a filter, heater and light built in. I was wondering if it would be possible to have a single male betta fish in it? No other fish, just the betta.

Got my male Betta in a 2.1/2 tank very much styled on a Nano. He's doing really really well in there. It's heated, filtered, lit & has some live plants both planted & floating. I was 'advised' that it'd be cruel to put a Betta in such a small tank but I think he's well happy. Only down side is that you have to keep your eye on the water parameters but I enjoy doing that anyway so that's not a problem to me. Good luck
