Could My Lab Be Holding?

thats what mine was like when she was holding and someone confirmed mine was holding so congrats dude! lol.

mine swallowed or spat her eggs early tho.

dont blame her, a month like that must be a right pain!

Will she eat at all if she is holding??? I saw her suck in the smallest fragments of food in???
Trying to get pics as we speak(my camera is a pile of poo)
Yes sucsess. Dont know if you can see she has a sort of buldge.

She's absolutely holding, the females can start breeding at less then 2" long. They do sometimes sneak bits of food.

she is holding for sure i have one thats going to spit probably tomorrow or the next day!!and its her first time good luck with yours hope she holds!! :)

Horney little guys are the yellow labs i heard they breed alot but after being in my tank for a month gees.

I dont have a breeding trap but i do have a plastic container i could stick in the tank at either end. There would be limited or no water flow in there but it would stay at a good temp could i do this?
Also what do i need to feed them?

yeah you really need to seperate her.

what you can feed them is baby brine shrimp, crushed up flake or what you coold do is wet your finger and swirl it in the bootom of the container and it picks up lots of tiny bits!

HTH

You only need to seperate her if she is being harassed by other fish, otherwise you'll only cause her more stress by sticking her in a little box. You don't need to worry about feeding her until she spits.
