I want to move my tetras from my 10g to my 55g because they are to timid and won't even eat with the tank light and they also run to the back of the tank when ever I come to see them and I feel if they are with other tetras they will be less timid. So would this present any problems as in the angels eating them once they get bigger?

if they are neons then no but it they are a larger tetra then yes and it also dependson how big your angels are.

yea how big are your angels?

if there still small i think youd be ok!

i have 3 angels in with over 20 tetras, 16 of them are neons and i havent had a problem even tho my angels are about 7" tall and they didnt grow up together.

It says in my sig what kind of tetras they are. ;)

The angels range from alittle bit bigger than a 50 cent piece to about the size of a nickle.

Most tetras do better in groups of 6 or more of there own type. They will do much better in the bigger tank.
Are you going to move the corys to?

No I wasn't planning on moving the corys, I was just seeing what my options were if I decided to move them. Thanks for your help guys.

Smaller tetras like neons with Angels can go either way. Sometimes it works and sometimes they get eaten. As with all fish it just depends on how aggressive they are. You could try it but if fish start disappearing you know who is doing it.
